Which Date Should You Use?
March 24th, 2022 11:58 AM
When doing a report for a purchase sale agreement you can see anywhere from one date to two, three or more depending on the situation – and sometimes figuring out what date to choose can make you take pause.

When in doubt I always like to try and think of it this way, a contract isn’t truly a contract until the date it is signed by both parties. If only one party has signed, then it’s just a piece of paper with a signature and some words. Once there are two signatures both parties have agreed and the document becomes an active contract.
